The Cotswold Canals Trust is a charity run by volunteers from the local community, giving time and energy to save our heritage and improve our local environment for the benefit of everyone. With the objective to restore the canals from Saul Junction at the western end to Lechlade in the east so linking the two great rivers of Thames and Severn.

Cricklade Historical Society - a registered charity whose object is to advance the knowledge and history of Cricklade including the parishes of Latton, Down Ampney, Marston Meysey, Kempsford, Castle Eaton and Leigh. Maintains Cricklade Museum. Talks take place each month on the third Wednesday at the Town Hall annexe. Doors will open at 7.00 pm and talks start at 7.30pm. Visitors welcome, entry fee is £5 for non-members of the society.  Details of talks are displayed on the museum notice board and on the Town Council notice boards.
